So I can't even begin to describe to you how beautiful our weather has been the past few days (if you live in the Seattle area, you know exactly what I'm talking about.) Here is Seattle, when we get some nice weather - even somewhat decent weather - it's practically a sin to let it go to waste. I have been itching for a while now to take my camera out for a stroll & snap some pictures & this weather was the perfect opportunity!
I have to share this story with you all because it's just too good not to. While in the car picking up his brother & taking his friend home Ben decided to play my Disney Pandora station.
I kid you not - he knew every single word to almost every song that came on. My personal favorite was Be Our Guest from Beauty & the Beast. It was quite a show; he had the accents, the voice inflections, & the dance moves throughout the entire thing.
Now, I grew up on Disney classics & still consider them as some of my faves but not even I knew as much as he did. I was quite impressed. Even his brother was quietly singing along in the backseat.
Is it weird that it made me fall in love with him more? He's so adorable.
Anyway, back to the pictures. All of these were taken at Ben's house around their property. It's so breathtaking in the springtime - by far my favorite season at their house.
I mean seriously, look at that sky. It doesn't get more perfect than that.
My oh my is he handsome. I'm so lucky (:
Monkey boy!
"What'd you say to me?" Haha.
Ben gave me some tree climbing lessons.
The driveway
We had to prop the camera up in a wedge in the tree so it's a little crooked, but owell.
Their pond is so gorgeous.
Rope swing (:
Almost 3 years ago we stood in this same spot & took a ridiculous amount of silly pictures...I guess history repeats itself.
At the edge of their yard looking at their house. Who wouldn't want to live here?
Have I mentioned that apple & cherry blossoms are my all-time favorite? Cause they are.
Snuggled up next to this handsome guy on a porch swing while he plays his guitar is not a bad place to be if you ask me.
View from the porch swing. I could sit there all day, every day.
I call this his "guitar face", he always makes it when he is really his playing.
This picture completely captures who he is & what he loves to do. Love it!
We finished the day off with some delicious fresh roasted vegetables, chicken with a cucumber & tomato salsa & greek yogurt sauce &...homemade ice cream with berried on top! It was soooo yummy!Since I already put a million pictures in here I won't put anymore, but on Sunday after church a group of youth, college kids, & Ben's dad & siblings & myself went on a little hike & then went back to Ben's house for hot dogs & s'mores by the campfire. Ben & I got to hold the world's cutest & sweetest little baby girls. My heart pretty much melted when Ben was holding her - his did too (he's got a major soft spot for baby girls:).
Overall, it was a perfect, blessed, sunny filled weekend that I didn't want to end!
I hope you had as perfect a weekend as I did! Have a great week!
