TRAVEL | Yarrunga Valley & Fitzroy Falls, Australia

During my time in Australia, one of the perks of staying on a campsite with locals is getting to see a lot of very beautiful places, most of which are a little off the beaten path; places that not the typical tourist would get to see, so I feel really blessed for that. The people who ran the camp would often surprise us by taking us on these day trips to see some of these places.
On this day they took us into a nearby town (nearby meaning about a 45 minute drive) for some shopping & lunch. I got to eat the most amazing traditional Australian pie - savory, not sweet - which I still find myself craving a year & a half later. As soon as we were done in this town they took us on another drive out to see the national park of Yarrunga Valley & Fitzroy Falls. It was a light walk to get out up there but absolutely worth the {minimal} effort.

I truly hope that if you ever head to NSW, Australia someday you can go & see this place in person because the pictures don't do it justice.
