Attunga | Baptisms!

During my time in Australia we had 5 baptisms (although I only have pictures from 4 of them)! Praise the Lord! He is so good & so faithful in His pursuit of us, His beloved children. They were each special & beautiful in their own way. I feel so blessed to have been a part of each of these lovely individuals' walks with Christ. I lived with them, watched them struggle, hurt, cry, laugh, & grow into stronger, bolder children of the One True King.

She was so excited she was jumping up & down in the water.
I honestly could not be more excited or proud of my brother & sisters in Christ for making this proclamation. I love them all so dearly & miss them now that we are scattered across the globe now, but I know that I am in their hearts & prayers just like they are in mine.

Attunga | Flying Fox & Archery

Here we are, finally into the fun stuff from my time down there in Aussieland. These pictures are from when we started our inductions on some of the activities that the camp offers. This day was flying fox - or zip lining - & archery. We also did raft building, canoeing, yabbying (fishing for yabbies in the dam), & the initiatives course. Here we go!
Hamish having a morning tea snack.
And we finished the day with an incredible sky painting by our heavenly Father. His mercies & gifts are new every day.

Attunga | Campsite Tour

Today I am going to take you on a tour around my Australian home-away-from-home. It is the most beautiful, spectacular, Spirit-filled place I have ever been. I immediately felt at home when I arrived & leaving was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do; but I know I will be back there one day.
These next few are looking out from the veranda towards the field & horse paddocks
Now we have made our way up to the Ridge. I literally cried when they took us up here for the first time. It was sunset & it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The photos don't really do it justice, but our Creator is the greatest Artist of all time.
I saw my fair share of sunsets while I was in Australia & honestly no two sunsets were ever alike, each one more brilliant than the last.
The interns: Foreste (Washington), Jordan (Canada), Tish (New Zealand), Me, Vicki (UK), Haydee (New Zealand but born in South Africa), & Hamish (New Zealand)
Attunga has ~10 kilometers of trails on their land, so needless to say it's fairly easy to get lost while going on a stroll (& yes, I did get lost. But I didn't really know I was lost until Hamish came looking for me on the motor bike all frantic because he hadn't seen me in an hour)
Mid-arvo (afternoon) devotional time on a rock. Could you ask for a more perfect place to sit with your heavenly Father for a couple hours?
Wombat hole. Don't know what a wombat is? They are basically really big guinea pigs with short little legs.
Yes, the rumors are true; kangaroos in Aussie are like deer here in the States. I saw a ton of these all over the campsite. Even crossed paths with some on my walks home in the dark.

Alright folks, I think enough for now. Hope you enjoyed your virtual tour through my Aussie home.
Have a blessed week!
